When I first was introduced to Studio Ghibli and the work of Hayao Miyazaki, it seemed like Ghibli was the Japanese version of Disney Animated Studios, with Miyazaki the Japanese version of Walt Disney (except for the fact that Miyazaki has drawn thousands of frames of his films whereas Walt was more an entrepreneur and innovator).

“The Grove” was the most moving episode of The Walking Dead that has aired in a long time. The decisions and realness that these characters have to deal with has finally come to a point where things have to be handled. And in a world where it’s you’re either fighting to live or the living dead, those who aren’t fit for this world are exposed. This worldview created one of the most emotional episodes this show has ever delivered.

Legos were a large part of my childhood – particularly Star Wars Legos, Bionicles, and the Lego sports sets. And I know that I am definitely not the only one. So, when the trailer first came out, I was a bit guarded. The only thing I enjoyed more than Legos in my childhood (Beast Wars/Transformers) were already ruined by the film industry – could my heart really take another failure? Fortunately, it did not have to. Lego fans, rejoice! Our favorite building blocks are finally represented on the big screen in the form of The Lego Movie – and it simply works.

 Episode 14 of Season 2 ups the ante for drama in Arrow. Oliver’s life becomes that much more complicated when Sara (Black Canary) is initiated into the crew and a dangerous villain comes onto the scene. Every minute of this episode was a blast full of tension and action.

The tenth episode of Season 4 takes a step back from the not only the normal narrative flow of episodes in the past, but also focuses and highlights the more minor characters on the show. I enjoyed the unique direction this episode went so much that it had me question things not only regarding the amazing plotline, but also why wasn’t this the first episode after the mid-season finale?
